Head studs or not?

Okay i wanted to know if are head just had studs. what i mean when i take off my header im i going to take only the bolt off or the whole stud. i wanted to know cuz im going to install my header soon. thanks

Studs for the manifolds. Sometimes they unscrew from the head when removing the manifold.
