There was just a case here where 3 people were charged. A guy was playing porn in his car while driving and 2 17 year olds were following him real close watching it. The guy was arrested for showing that in a public place and the kids were charged with wreckless driving.

that sucks for the dude, thats why you put the screen near the center console, not from the roof.

A lot of states now have laws making it illegal to have a "tv monitor" in the drivers view, On another forum, a guy got a ticket while his girlfriend was watching a video on a visor monitor. It was actually angled do he couldn't see it, but cop gave him ticket for "obstruction of view". The rules are like its ok for monitor to be behind the fron seats, or in case of a flip down monitor, mounted far enough behind driver that he can't see it. Another "loophole" that people are talking about is that if the monitor is a "static" screen, (doesn't move) its OK. When asked the standard comment should be "its for a music system and GPS". Those are OK. Just don't get caught with the DVD or TV playing.

Never saw this thread... thats sweet. I'm actually considering doing that myself.

Do the visors still stay folded to the roof fine? I have heard that some screens make the visors to heavy and they always fall down.

That's cool!!! I was thinking about a monitor for the headrest but havent looked around any. This would be awesome. I have a 2 year old and one on the way, so in-car entertainment is now one of the things I am looking for. Where did you mount the DVD player?
