I like it, I must not have been paying attention before but where did the lip come from?

thats a damn nice looking front bumper! the 'lip' is simply the top of another OEM bumper that was hacked off and reattached. pretty sweet IMO. It looks even better in real life.

Oh yeah, how the hell didn't I see that, I wonder how that would look on Bloodlusts Xenon Kit. I have 2 spare bumpers now :D

I think you do :D

Besides, just consider it protection for the bottom of the Xenon Kit :cool2:

yes he is right. it does look much better in person, and now that I have a clean bumper and a clean lip it looks 10X better. and for anybody wondering I have not trimmed the ends off to butt up with the bumper. that is why its hanging out towards the back of the bumper.

for my next picture, I will show off the new Brembo slotted rotors. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

it takes great speed shots though! hahaha. as for making those lips I suppose I could. its just hard to find a decent junk yard bumper. i looked for a couple months for mine and I still had to clean it up a bit.

I just got the rear bumper today and put it back on. its looks so sexy! I will probably work on the rear lip tonight and take pictures and have them up tomorrow!

Im a little disappointed with the cowl because the damn carb box hits the underside of the hood and it stress cracked some bondo. ERRR anyway so Im kinda looking for a CF hood now? anybody got one or know where I could get one ??

thanks for the comments

hahaha.

thanks Caleb. sorry the picture is horrible, but right now all I have is my camera phone because my digital camera and card reader arent working. none the less.

the lip is off an 88 rear bumper. it is the bottom trim piece cut, flipped upside down, bolted back to the stock bumper using stock bolts and a few drilled holes, then cut and trimmed for dual exhaust. (later on) Hopefully better pictures will be coming soon!!!

Damn dude I was actually thinking of doing the exact same thing today!!! I was like hmm how would that look if I cut the bottom piece off the back bumper and flipped it up side down. I think that looks better than the lip I was going to put on the rear bumper. Thanks for confirming my idea I had today. Too bad I wasn't the first to think of it. Great minds think a like! It's just mines a little slower since I am constantly around brake cleaner and crap like that everyday.

he he he EFI. Yea the wire harness is going to be a problem and you will have to get the approiate engine harness to match it cause there is differences in the 86-87 and 88-89. Need to find one soon.

Well guys at my junk yard there's a few EFI accords and I think there are 2 86-87 ones and one 88-89 3G. So if you need one let me know and I can price one out for you.

Justin86
03-04-2004, 01:31 PM
yea there is some pick and pulls here but then we would have to pull it our selfs and I'm not sure if we have time to do that. But we need an 86-87 harness to match with the parts, but I could adapt a 88-89 engine harness if it was absolutely needed.

Is there a difference in the harnesses for auto and manual? I will see if they have them and find out how much for you guys.

Justin/ Mario if you need me to run by the JY over let me know I have all day saturday. But Mario with all the accords in the JY in Redding there has to be one.

Yea there is a slight difference but I was able to work around it when I did my EFI swap.
Yea Matt I know there is a couple in Redding that we could pull, but the problem is that take a lot of time, but we might have to do it. I remember seeing a 89Lx-i there. Now there might be another problem that might cause some problems, I'll PM you guys about it.
