front and rear bumper, which is longer???

i dont want a body kit, but i do want my car to have a little lower look, which year has a front bumper that looks longer or lower from top to bottom???? pics if possible.

ive seen an 89 with a front bumber that looks kind of flat and it looked longer.

i know about the rear bumper cover. on my original '87 rear bumper it wasnt as long top to bottom, as my new '88 bumper. the new one has a little piece on the bottom, and im wondering if its a bit shorter from the trunk to the back of the bumper. looks like it sticks out less than my '87 bumper did.
