I have posted several times on this site and Accord Central and nobody will hit me back. Can anyone tell me the story behind the fuel injected BT in my 86 Lxi Hatch and why it is FI, people ask about FI ing thier 88 or 89 or so?
Also what is availble for performance parts, or parts in general?

the BT is the same motor as the a20a3 just with a different name. I have an 86 hatch LXi and it is fuel injected. People ask about switching to FI because they have either a DX or LX model which came with a carb instead of FI.

there is not much after market support through the major companies for our motors. Some parts have been 'frankensteined' from other cars and they work pretty well. it really just depends on what 'performance parts' you're looking for. Give me a list of what you're looking for and i'll help you out.

In 86 the Fi model was labeled as the BT, then it changed to the A20A3
I have the BS engine, in 87 the name was changed to the A20A1

whoa. i had no idea the engines were labeld BS and BT... good to know though, so I don't freak if i ever see one.
