u don't know i sold my lxi to a family member.
i took 15's and put them on the lx.

Closer to stock wheel size is better. Start lossing power with bigger tires and wheels. My 15's were 195-45-15s.

The 195-45-15 is a Kumho tire so it's not to bad on price.

where i work at for dunlop 195/55/15 or i think it was 195/50/15 was about 80 a piece.

86-87 all models came with 13 inch 40mm 4x100 wheels, 185 70 R13. same with the DX and LX 88-89. for 88-89 LX-i came with 14 inch 40mm 4x100 195 60 R14, as did SE-i. i believe all wheels that were 13s from the early 80s to the first few years of the 90s will all fit accords. just making sure its a 40mm offset. i've upgraded to 14in prelude rims with 195 60 yokohama A550H tires. got em at sears for about $340. they have great traction in dry and wet and on gravel surfaces. i always used to wonder about rims. someone told me that the 4th gen accord rims dont fit. dont remeber offset.

I dont see why you want your speedometer to read wrong with 195/45/15. Benefits of better handlings vs pothole friendly as well as speedometer friendly.

what i realy need is the stock rim with
i need all the specs becuse. i am going to put on wider rims. i am a automotive tech. so i am going through the trouble of makeing sure i have no rub and the speedometer being no more than 5/10ths off so that the shift piont's are not off by much and i get the same gas mileage. did you know that most of the time the tire's recomended with a set off rims are to small. most of the time you need to go up 5% on the aspect ratio.

thats true about when you plus size your rims they give you a tire a bit too small. like 14s or 15s. and its also true that when you get rims about 16in and bigger they sell you a very small side wall and its still usually a bigger diameter than what you need. you might notice that people who get 16s, 17s, 18s, etc., their cars ride higher because the tire's diameter is a bit bigger. then it needs a drop. also notice when you go with bigger wheels your car becomes slower than it originally was when you already have low hp. i stick with 14s or 15s on my 3gee for now unless i can find the rims i want bigger size but light weight.
