Well it depends what modifications you have done to the car. If its just stock don't waste your time b/c you will just blow the motor in no time.

make sure your gerry rig will not have any intake leaks or you'll see your intake literally explode. 75 shot is daring just pray your conrod bolts will hold up, let alone the rest of the engine.

I know I wouldn't ride in the car with you since I don't want a rod or parts of the pistons flying at me or out of the engine.

you COULD make your own adaptor plate. Thats about all you can do with a custom nitrous setup on a carb.

what brand n2o kit are you running? You should be OK with 170K miles as long as you dont run a big shot. If i were you, i wouldnt go as big as 75.

you will have to run wet kit because dry kit will lean out the mixture.

i know if you have a weber you can buy a nitro fogger plate!

i would really be interested in another way(custom plate)! anyone care to elaborate? how can we dump more gas to compensate for the nitro?

with the Nitrous Express kits, they have a separate fuel solenoid that kicks in to dump more fuel in when the N2O sprays. I have a plate that i think was used for a fogger plate. I'll have to get pictures of it so you can see what it would look like. Basically what you'd need is an adaptor plate with holes through it that will feed in the nitrous/fuel mixture into the manifold below the carb.

here is a simple drawing of what it should look like:

why has noone ever messed around with a carb nitro kit? i dont think ive EVER seen an lx or dx juiced EVER! :(

is their any other way to run nitro? i dont think direct-port could work?

i think its probably because nobody has wanted to. People put N2O on carbed big blocks all the time. I'm not sure if DP could be put on carb, but i dont see why not.

Yeah, I personally don't like nitrous. NA all the way.

And making a plate would be that hard, that is something I could do at home, then just get some fittings for the lines and there you go. :D
