View Full Version : Unforseen problems adapting integra clutch?

When I had my accord apart, I was comparing several integra/civic flywheels that were lying around next to my accord flywheel, and it looked like the crankshaft bolt pattern was the same. This got me thinking that it is possible to adapt an aftermarket integra clutch to the accord. The only difference that I saw was that the integra input shaft is larger, with more splines. However, it doesn't seem like it would be very hard for an aftermarket clutch company (act maybe?) to custom make a disc to fit the integra flywheel/pressure plate and accord input shaft. Has anyone else tried this, or does anyone know anything about this that I don't?
Thanks

You are right, it would not be hard for a major compony to make a clutch for our cars. Problem is most don't care. About the best you can get is an ACT lower model or a Centerforce dual friction.

Talk to Sean at accordcentral, he is working on adapting a B16 clutch and flywheel to the A20.
