Southern PA, Maryland, Northern VA ... meet

I'm trying to gauge interest in a meet this summer for the southern PA, MD, northern VA meet. Basically anything within a 125 mile radius of York, PA or if you want to drive farther. I'd like to see at least 5 people before I start planning something. Also, you can throw in your ideas of where to meet like a park or something and what to do?

I'm in. My car is finally fixed and I've be DYING to have a meet with some 3geezers. Hagerstown is only like a 2 hour drive from me, so is Frederick. I live on the eastern shore of the bay, in Easton. I'm in for this.

I think it's about time we picked a location for this meet. I think the Mason Dixon dragway will be a great place. You can check out their website here (http://www.masondixondragway.com). It is 25 dollars to run and 10 dollars to watch. I also think June 12 or June 19 will be good days to go. The test and tune sessions for those days start at 5 PM and go to 9 PM and it opens at 4. We could all meet up somewhere for little grub and then head over to the track for some fun. Let's get something set in stone here so we can get a sign in going.

Mason Dixon runs street legal cars on Saturdays... That would be a great spot to meet plus it is easy to find. They start running cars at 4 and end at 10. It'll be my first time running as well. But no big deal. There are alot of ppl that take their street cars up there and run em. Some have after market shit but most are stock as for the imports go.....

I e-mailed the track and got a response. The testing session for this day is 5 - 9 PM. If you are going to be running, you need to be there at 4. You need to bring a helmet if your car is faster than 13.99 but I doubt any of us are. I'll probably be there between 3:30 and 4 so I can go through the tech inspection.

This is my first meet also. I just got directions from mapquest yesterday. 120 miles away from me. I'll be there at 4, and I've already taken the cell numbers, so expect to hear from me. The 3G will be detailed and insanely clean for this meet. I'm real anxious for this. which should be the same one's u guys are following, what u wanna do is follow it up to part 8 where u take 170B towards I-495 towards tysons corner, from there u wanna take the exit for BRADDOCK ROAD!!!! which should be exit 54B-A, when u go down that exit u have 2 options, u can go Braddock rd East or West, take WEST, now here's a bit of a tricky part, when u come around the exit, u are met with a fork in the road, TAKE THE LEFT towards the STOP LIGHT, not merging into traffic with braddock road, when your at the stop light u will IMMEDIATELY see a MOBIL gas station, that's where i want u to go, there's also a SAFEWAY grocery store there, u guys can pretty much meet me in the parking lot somewhere there, i will be calling sharkyx tomorrow morning to clarify any questions with these directions, but pretty much i want u to call me when u merge onto I 495 so i can guide u the rest of the way, my cell is 7035972139, from my understanding u guys are heading out around noon, so i should expect u around 130/200ish i suppose, holla at me regardless! goodnight!
