:help:

Since it's gotten colder I have noticed the colder it is the harder it is to turn my wheel. On warmer days it's not hardly noticeable but on cold days it acts like it's slipping and whines a bit but manages to turn with some diffaculty.
The car had set for awhile ( 1 1/2 -- 2 years ) and has 77k. Any Ideas WTF ?

try one of these:
1-belt dressing
2-tighten the belt
3-replace the belt
4-all of the above

Ohio sucks!
But anyway my car sat for 2 years before I bauget it. I did a full tuneup, replaced all the belts (including the timing belt), hoses and tires.

I just did the same with mine, minus the tires... they were still good. Feels good knowing that it (timing belt) won't have to be done for another 60k. :)

I got my wife looking for my can of belt dressing when I get home i'll try it. I had the timing belt and water pump replaced about 3 months before it sit. Never done anything with any of the belts though. How hard are these belts to replace? Looking at it it looking like a friggin nightmare!
