i think your paintjob is bad-ass but the tails....ehhh to each their own i suppose. your car would really be set off with some painted bumper skins though.

DX owns you hahaha word that. I read all the comments good and bad, all I ask is that you see the car in person before you make derogetory comments, especially about the tail lights. NxRacer can speak for that. you may not like how they look in a picture but when you see them for youself its a little different. also I am just waiting for the 35th anv. corvette tail lights to come in.

yeah.. at first i was like, it must be the light or something. But that one pic the rear tire is completely in the shade so i figured u had painted em or had white letters. Its different, and definitely growing on me.. im diggin that. It reminds me of those supercars like the NSX on GT3.

i didnt think i was going to like the tail either, but wheni saw them in real life i was converted. They look badass in real life!

Hey mario I was wondering if you had any ideas about sideskirts? I'm doing the rear bumper thing but I'm only going to have the one muffler opening. I'm doing a double front lip.

I have 3 things I could do. I'm looking for another CRX lip to make the one for the accord, I have a Mazda 626 lip, and I have a Legend lip. I've been finding these lips at the junkyard lately and since I never see them there I just buy them. I'd really like to get some side skirts. I thought would could use cavalier skirts (there's one at the junkyard too.)

your car is looking better and better. The only thing that I would suggest right now, is to paint the eye lids and corner lights black. The brown and yellow dont match AT ALL!

Here, this is what I'm talking about. I did it and it was piece of cake ;)

yeah I dont have any ideas for the side skirts yet, im lost. i was just thinking the xenon side skirts maybe. the thing is now with the front lip and the back lip the whole bottom of the car sits even. im thinking side skirts might drop the center too low again. I heard about the cavalier skirts but have yet to see those. if you do it show me. I wanna see.

yeah i was gonna get around to painting those corners some time soon. I gotta get some new 88 corner peices though. I melted the last ones with the ambulance strobes. and the 87 corners are ugly as hell

You know what I think would look good. If you painted the rocker panels on the car. just the bottom part that looks like sideskirts on your car. I think that would look pretty cool b/c it would flow a little better with the black bumpers. I also agree with Coroncho about painting the eyelids and maybe the corners. I think clear corners would look good too.

those tail lights look awesome in the pictures, i'd love to see a how-to on how you did them. they are the best looking tails i've seen on any 3g ever. the paint is nice as fuck. i like the dx. :cool2:

That rear lip looks really good... I still think you should paint the molding and bumpers though, then you can be my twin, well kind of... And if you go with the 88 corner lense, paint the amber over in gunmetal- it will give you a good end result...

it has come a long way since the first sac meet i went to, Primer to gunmetal and with the lips. Like mario said, those tails do look awkward in pictures, I'm not personally fond of changing it to circles...but it is some great craftsmanship as well as originality. To each man his own.

GREAT pics! i hope to see it again soon. Shame i cant make it out to the west coast meet dued to school. :(

How well does the light shine through the black of your corners Coroncho? and what sort of paint did you use?


I took those bulbs out; I hated them like I hated it the brown eye lids. I used the regular vinyl paint. It's not the transparent one so if you leave the bulb there, you wont even see it.
