Hi, I need to know why my 88 accord lx is "rebuilt" so I need a carfax report done... I don't have a credit card or the money to pay for this so if anyone has an unlimited account could they do a report for me? I'd really really really appreciate it. Thanks.

I've used newaki's carfax a couple of times, but I think you just have to search for his thread and then you will find his user name and password.

hmm.... I know I got a report in January b/c that's when I get my other car. I know he was having some problems with carfax trying to close his account after a certain # or reports but he had an unlimited and I thought he got it fixed.

Stank ya, Stank ya very much! :cool2:

My car was in an accident in 1989 and 1997, the title has been rebuilt since 1989 so I guess I shouldn't worry about anything since it's still driving.

The story of this 1988 HONDA ACCORD LX (JHMCA5631JC075765) according to our interpretation of the information reported to CARFAX:
This sedan has had 2 owners and was owned in Florida and Kentucky. The first title for this sedan was reported to CARFAX by a Florida DMV in 1988.
It was involved in 2 different accidents. These police-reported accidents occurred in Florida and Kentucky.
It was severely damaged and issued a Salvage title by a Florida DMV. It was later issued a Rebuilt title by a Florida DMV, which allows for the vehicle to be repaired and returned to the road.
CARFAX found a potential odometer rollback of 29,981 miles. The readings suggesting this rollback were collected by a DMV or other verifiable source.
It was not reported to a DMV as a Manufacturer Buyback (LEMON).

Thanks again, NewAKI, you're a life saver. :)

hi, i dont know if im in the right thread, but most likely i guess i am. Well, here is the story, my friend was cruizin our 3g forum and i guess he came across this thread (i am positive its this most likely). Well he used the email and password that Newaki posted for Dennis and ran my car just to make fun of me if it had any accidents or what not. I was pissed off that he did not even tell me or post in this thread or ask Newaki (im logged in always) before he did that. I am really sorry for his actions newaki.

hey NEWAKI, i'd appreciate it if i could use the carfax account to check if there is any potential that my odometer isn't showing all the miles. it's for my 89 crown vic. which i'm going to sell. it's something the buyer wanted to make sure was correct. it's a very low mileage car, 75,000 or so on it. just need to verify, thanks bud-dy.
