Exaust heat line to Carb Box - CivicIntakeQ's

alright, i got an intake manifold from a 90 civic sedan this weekend ($8.77)... i was thinking about all the lines i need to run into the new intake and what i can remove...
alright, i know there is a sensor for the preheating system... but does that mean that it controls the trap door that lets air in from the exaust manifold? ...if thats the case, do i need to put the sensor on the intake since i wont have the trapdoor anymore? i would assume that the Preheating system would be the warm exaust air, because i cant think of anything else it could be off the top of my head...
i know i could be completely wrong about this, but i am sitting in my room in the middle of the night and my car is outside so i cant go and test it...

OH, and can i run 16 and 17 together since they are different sizes? and what would i use to do that nad connect them to the extra hole in the back of the civic intake...?
8 and 33 get plugged at the hardline correct, and the air suction can be plugged to the driverside hole?
then i put a little filter on the Vavle cover?

when i put my civic intake on i took off that thermostat sensor thing, and plugged up that heat line, i ran two vacuum lines i geuss 16 and 17 can't remember the numbers, but the large one goes to the intake from that white vacuum line split off thing and the little one runs from behind the carb to the civic adaptor, theres a hook-up on the back of the adaptor,
don't plug that line that goes to the adaptor ur car will stall out. look in the how to or search civic intake theres more stuff, probably better explained i just know in my head but don't know the terminology for some of the parts so i call them doo-hickies and stuff lol

16 and 17 can be hooked together with a vaccum connector, just look in an auto parts store for a plastic bit with the 2 sizes you need.

so 8 and 33, the air bleeds can both be plugged without any negative effects?
and i can remove the sensor plug,and the line from the exaust manifold?
do i cap that off with a large vacuum cap, or what do i use on the exaust line hole?

Huh? you don't plug anything on the exhaust manifold, and the air cleaner will plug itself once you remove the vacuum hose to the diaphragm that controlls the hot air intake.

The air bleeds can be pluged, the sensor on the intake is useless once the hot air diaphragm is disabled. Unclip it or just let it dangle.

the hose that is currently running from the exaust manifold to the trapdoor of the stock airbox, do i plug that hole @ the exaust manifold, or do i let the hose seep hot air into my engine bay?... im thinkin i should plug it, but thats what im asking about

Listen to me please... plugging it wont do anything, its just a little tube off the heat shield... you're not going to stop hot air by plugging it, since there are plenty of other gaps for the heat to escape from... the only reason that tube is there is so the carb could SUCK the air from behind the heat sheild and into the air cleaner. Please don't put rubber on the heat shield it will most likely melt or dry out very quickly and be useless.

i took off everything even the sensor and when i did . it was'nt acting right so i only put the sensor back on, and now it's fine.
just take off that heat shield, don't use the hose or trap thingy.

nope , i'm talking about the air warmer, or the carb version of "maf sensor"
