well i was board and pissed so out of nowhere i decided to do a compression test and for over 200thousand mile's, and goin thru hell with me, i must say it did pretty good.
according to my uncle it should be lower than 75psi.
well all of them ranged about 165-175, my uncle say's it could b due to me cranking to long.
i do have some question's though, let's say that after cranking i stop is the pressure suppose to hold or go down?
and is this compression good or too much.

nope, sounds good to me........ mines got 206k on it and still cranks out 155-165 psi.

acording to my manuel it says a 86 honda accord lx-i should have 210psi for each cylinder. mine is 150psi on cylinders 1 and 4 and 120psi on cylinders 2 and 3 weird :dunno:

you may have a head gasket on the way out.

if you have 75psi compression in your cylinders, you have some major ptoblems.
the average compression on 3G is between 150-180. if you are within those two numbers you are good.

Normal compression for our engines (according to my service manual) is 178 psi, with a minimum of (I think) 135-ish, and 28 psi max variation between adjacent cylinders.

When I tested mine it had about 320k miles, and it ranged from 199-203 psi across all 4.
