Wierd noises...??

Well, I have a 89 accord DX, and I have been hearing these wierd noises coming from the engine I belive, sounds like a cricket chirping or a birding singing. I don't know if its my belts or what, but it does it when my AC is on and off. I was wondering is anyone has had this problem before, know what could be causing it, and how to fix it. I would appreciate any help.
