would it be possible to put the a20 crank in a b18 ls block as a means of stroking. i know the rod journals are the same, but what about the mains and bore alignment

Why not just get an aftermarket B crank?
I know eagle makes one as part of a stroker kit.

Why? Bore out to 85mm and you have better and more reliable B20 than the B20z itself.

why not? you can get an a20 crank for little to nothing. sleeving or a new stroker crank is some serious cash, plus this wouldn't compromise the r/s too much, considering the eagle 95mm eagle most are running has a super sucky ratio. i was just bouncing the idea around. if i had the money to just sleeve i would think about it, but i don t

Why not try one of the B20 cranks in a B18?

thats been done as well, actually eagle uses remanufactured b20s as some of their stroker crank options. i would however like more engine longitivity as the low rod stroke ratio of a 95mm crank without the use of longer rods and pistons would kill cylinder walls pretty quick

Same Crank Homie..
Only diffrence is that the B20B/Z has a 84mm Bore and the B18A/B has a 81mm Bore.

Even the B20 from the JDM accord? All same crank?

That's why I said B20B/Z not JDM B20a. I am pretty sure A20a1 was talking about the B20B/Z, since you are talking about the B18a1.

JDM B20a has a stroke of 95mm ( diffrent crank ) and a Bore 81mm.
