3rd Annual CT Meet

Well, I am posting this a little earlier than usual, but I thought I would get the idea out because I would like to have the meet in July instead of the usual August.

So tenative date...July 17th is a Sat.
and I was hoping to rent out a Go-Kart track in CT and BBQ back at my house that nite.
I think it would be great to showcase our skills with the karts and knock maurice off the road!! :) BTW this place times you so maybe the fastest person could get a prize or something.

actually...the heavier you are the better because you can keep it floored in the turns and transfer your weight when you turn, but when you are lighter there is no weight to transfer so you are just spinning wheels. Sorry Jimbo :)

I know man, it's bad. What happens is that I always try to wash my car early that day and it takes me longer then what I think. Don't worry man. I rolled up last year and my car was completely stock. Some people just can't afford mods as easily but it's no biggie. You can definitely come.

Yeah Roni, you can take 95 or the Hutch/Merrit (15) to 91. The track is off exit 42 of 91.

Either 95 or 15, you'll see signs for 91 North. Just follow those and you're set.

Things are comming together right on schedule, kinda sorta. Looks like I wont get my adjustable cam gear in time. I should have my Amp and Sirius satelite setup installed tomorrow. Auto - Manual Swap, SS Braided Breaklines, Finish wiring NX button on steering wheel, Remount XM radio reciever and ant., repaint trim on front of car black. I'd be there except that about a week ago, on my way to work, my throttle got stuck and I ended up having to ride my brakes just to keep it at 90. My front disks and pads are shot and the engine still races when I try to start it. Also, before my high speed morning commute I was having problems starting my car after I shut it off. It would have to sit for a few hours before it would start again. My car needs a lot of work to get back on the road and I definetly won't be ready to go in 10 days.

Mark lives in Newtown which is off 84 not far from danbury. If you came the tappan zee maurice it would be a much better ride and you can catch 84. 95 is just a bad way to begin with as you already know so the last few times to english town we have take the TZ back home and its been good except last time we headed back towards the city by accident. I believe our mistake was we should have followed the sign for white plains new york and then it ran into 84. Map quest should be more specific but we didnt have a map or anything that time.

that'll work too. Just make sure that when you get off 27A, stay to the left. The highway will split 25N is the 3 lanes to the left, and 8N is the two lanes to the right. Stay on 25N. Just follow that for a long ass time, the highway will turn into a regular street with stores on both sides, just keep going. After you see the Citgo station on the right, my street is about a 1/4 mile past that on the right, and I'm the second house on the left.

I don't know how your going, but if your going through NJ or NY keep your speed in check, NJ speeding laws suck, I got hit with a 90 in 65 or somthing like that on the way back from CT last year and in a 65 the fines are double. LMK if you need anything or if you want to stop by for a rest.

Yeah NJ State cops are good at hiding i got bagged 90 in a 65 last summer and it turned out the cops sit on the other side of the over passes and radio ahead. I was doing 65 for a few miles by the time i got pulled over but luckily he was nice and gave me a warning.
