EFI is a good upgrade and from what i've seen thats a good price. Just be ready for a headache. I"ve heard EFI is not easy, but its deffinately worth it in the long run.

plus the efi's are more reliable than the carb. i'm planning on doing that till i get my part's.

basicly for 150 the guy will drop the honda of my choice in my yard, i out the parts, then he picks it back up... might swap out the rear disc brakes whille thier cars just siting in my back yard hehe

I don't know if I could agree on the more reliable part... but EFI is less maintenace once you get things set up right.

Yea I would do it. I have done two swaps so far and it isn't really hard just extremely time consuming, and $150 is a really good price. look at the how to there is some stuff I added to it that should help some more, if Joe has made the changes yet.

yeah, well i've been thinking of doing the efi manifold swap, along with all the other shit that goes on it. i'd need to find a good computer, but usually they are ripped out or have water damage. then i dont know but i think a new gauge cluster is optional whether you want the PGM-fi light. i'd really like to try doing the swap, but im thinking it may be more difficult that i think. like if the parts i get are not in good condition and dont work. i've been looking for a good fi system off the 3gee at the junk yards, but there are mostly carbed engines. fi is more of a dream, but then not if you have the time to do it.

yea and its hard to get a good parts car to pull all the stuff too. I had to replace bad parts when I made my swap, and or you could just get another 3G that is EFI.

efi is not a headache is not hard. I know of 4 guys including myself have done it and Carotman and myself have two different detailed write ups on our respective websites about how you should do it and what you need. I even have what tools you need to have from what socket size and stuff. So its upto you to read and find it. Do remember that i was a noob when i did it, but the final thing is, i did it. out of how many guys with carb here? I managed to it and i was not that great of mechanical wiz at that time. BUt yeah, its a lot of elbow grease and its fun, lots of fun. :)

Yea I had fun esp when I had some help for the 2nd swap I did and now I might be doing two more swaps, so yes, just from people watching me do the swap they wanted to try it them selfs. :)
