Since I just got my suspension done, i wanted to take it to a curvy road about 60miles nearby: Mt Hamilton Rd aka Highway 137.

There is an observatory at the top of the mountain making it more fun since there is a stop.

One HUGE telescope. It was built in the late 1800's and is still 2nd largest reflective telescope (from what I remember)

after a sunny day, i got to home back to san francisco to this...:(

overall, my car feels alot better with 205 on 15inch rims and the suspension done. Great road.. its near san jose. Off 680 highway exit alum rock and go towards east and you will hit 137...22miles of fun!

Yur car looks nice. Clean and simple the way it should be.

Love that road. I used to be able to drive on roads like that before I moved to flat and straight roaded Florida.

I just went up to the observatory today. It was a nice drive. There are some incredible views on the way. I got some pics if someone wants me to post them. I found that park on the way too. I drove through there, and it looks like a nifty little campground. I might have to go spend the weekend there sometime. I was suprised that the observatory has 3 or 4 domes, and a school, and quite a few residences. It's an entire community on top of a ridge up there. I could see all of San Jose, and I could just make out the San Fran skyline through the smog/fog. It was awesome.

Hey busted, have you ever try driving down 152 near gilroy???

If ya wanna put your car to the test for suspension, go to 152, its windy as hard hell. Drifted alot on that road, but the prob is, ith as become a busy road between gilroy and watsonville.

Yup for sure 152 is nothing compared to Mt Hamilton. Lovely pics BMS!!! Maybe we can do a 3geez meet here in San Jose and then take a cruise up to the top! Those are some nice pics. I didn't stop to take pics I went all the way up nonstop and all the way down nonstop and took pics on the way while driving.

as far as busy...its rather empty on the weekdays. On the weekends it is infested with bicyclist and motorcycles and weekend drivers.. Best time is like around 3pm-4pm on a weekday to go up. It's fun! Just be careful and know your limits. There are no guardrails so...be aware its a long drop. :pc:
