Gas millege and some other questions.

I have a question, on average how many miles to the tank are you getting? How many miles to the gallon, and how big is our gas tanks. Thanks.

i have an lx, i think i get around 330 or so/tank, but i know my gas mileage is about 28 in city and 35 highway. the gas tank is 15.9 gallons according to the owners manual.

Best I've made is 5,9 litres / 100 km. A20A4, PGM-FI, standard without catalystic converter.

EDIT: I think to remember i got as far as 700 kilometres before the yellow fuel-light lit up.

Some city, and mostly highway. In the summer, I get between 450-500 to the tank, although then it is all highway.

Yes, I get around 380 per tank. I don't go to the light either. I think that on average it's somwhere around 33 mpg. That's about 1/2 freeway driving. I can easily go to 200 before I hit half tank.

Wow, what's your average speed onthe highway? I get close to 400 miles a tank on the freeway. Average, depending on drivestyle, 25-35 MPG. I've been a little heavy on the foot lately, (70-80 freeway driving), so I've been averageing in the 25 range.

shepherd always be gettin that really good gas mileage, its straight, but like dont expect to get that good i dont think anyone else on the forum gets that good, he must just have a god car. i usually (i drive it hard sometimes) get about 300MI in the city when i burn about 14gallons

Just today I hit 400 and the light isn't on yet. I don't know why someone would be getting 250 per tank

Ok well I started driving a little slower, and not accelerating as fast and I got like 375 to the tank this time. woot big improvement.

Is that all you did? That's a huge improvement from the 190 mi/tank you had before. Maybe I should give that a try.

Hey guys. Just got home from tooling around Seattle area with my old man for the last couple of days. showing him around the area. Right now I'm at 442 miles on one tank and i've got more gas left, who know's how much, but i've got some left. :)

AND It's with my leaky carb!

I just fixed my ignition timing and went for a long drive today. So far I've gone 180 km (112 mi) and I've still got over ¾ of a tank left. That's also with my car idling for a while this morning when I was fixing my timing.

My record was 488 and I chugged into the gas station and managed to pump 15.1 gallons into a 15 gallon tank.
