i was jus thinkin of how it takes like 2 full rotaions to turn the steering wheel all the way to one side. this is really a pain in the ass when trying to change directions fast. i know a smaller steering wheel will help to turn quicker, but i was wondering if there is something i can do or buy, that will lessen the distance the steering wheel turns, to fully turn the wheels.

What you need is a manual rack and pinion unit (Canadian DX), I hear it has tighter ratios.

so is this the only option? im guessing it is since no one else has replied.

Unless you want to have new steering knuckles (uprights) built for you with shorter steering arms the only way to alter the steering ratio is by swapping out the rack.

Just how much tighter is the DX? Is it realy worth the trouble?
