yeah they are b18a integra Ractive wires. they are triple core and i got them for cheap and they work awesome. i might have to move the ignition coil down a bit since the coil wire is short. i had NGK wires before and these made a difference. throttle response and acceleration is like up 10-15%.

hey guy what did you do your interior with and what is the color of your fabric?

ICEMAN707
04-01-2004, 06:49 PM
i did my interior with epoxy paint. color is cream almond. i took out all the interior pieces and the dash and cleaned them thoroughly with light paint thinner and a little wet sanding prior to painting. then i epoxy primered the pieces and painted them with the paint. then some polyurethane clearcoat over that mixed with some flex agent. i did this a long time ago before i started working on the outside of the car. i used a paint sprayer at about 50-60psi pressure. the seats are still stock color and so is the carpet. i have other plans for those as soon as i get the car painted. i'm going to change the interior again. i'm going to fiberglass resin the interior pieces, sand them smooth, and paint them pearl white like the outside of the car. the black fabric will be changed to velvet dark royal blue.

after the paint, you doing a 5 speed swap? if you did a 5spd swap and did seans turbo, you would be the top dawg, even passing the best known to date, when people say a car has potential its like yeah yeah, BUT THAT DAMN CAR HAS POTENTIAL!!!

i seriously like your 3g the best out of all of them, just amagine a little hoodscoop like the wrx has, (more square but same design) and a TMIC (top mount i/c) on that thang, wicked,
props

yep. 5 spd swap from the 84-87 prelude's tranny, Se-I disc brakes with AEM big brake upgrade, maybe even a fully built turbo engine from Sean with NOS. the whole works man! time will tell. but a fully built engine is good enough for me. this will be a car audio and looks show car and that much power would be useless to me. if i were to make a race car, it would have been the hatch fully gutted on race slicks instead of this sedan. but that wasn't the direction i was going for. to me, racing is senseless....there is always a more expensive car that's faster no matter what you drive and do to it. unless you own a ferrari enzo or chrysler 412 of course.......and as for the hood, im fabricating a fiberglass hood centerpiece as we speak with some shark gills vents.

VERY nice Iceman. That's one sick lookin car there. I really like how you picked the front end, sides and ass to flow well with the lines on the car. Props to you. I'm gonna be workin on something that's almost identical to the blisters that you drew, so we'll have to see how everything turns out.

ICEMAN707
04-02-2004, 10:33 AM
yeah i kinda like the blister fenders on those old mitsubishi starions and dodge conquests. i might have to make a trip to the junk yard someday and make a mold out of them.

markmdz89hatch
04-02-2004, 10:49 AM
depending on how drastic of a blister you are looking for, the 1st gen legend sedan could help you out a lot, as it's a 4dr, and the front fender length is very similar to that on the 3G.

Catch me on PM. I wanna hear more about this project. Also, I'll tell my secret on a damn perfect length for the coupe/hatch.

the taillights are temporary. i just painted it with enamel black. after flash drying, i removed the masking tape then gave it 2 thick layers of clearcoat ...and viola! instant brand new taillights!

kenwood deck right?

no, in that pic there was no face on that deck. it's an Alpine CDA 7863 240 watt CD receiver (4 channels x 60 watts) MOSFET FINAL. but kenwood is good also and so is panasonic and clarion. i just like this deck better cus it's got alot of options and has the most standard power due to its built-in amplifier. plus, Alpine is the best in the business IMO.

It a custom one that was made a few yrs back. I'm going to start remaking them but with a better bracket. If you noticed that ICEMAN had to pull his trunk trim for it to fit or cut it up. here's the link...... http://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?p=383482#post383482

Oh yea and bye the way the cars looking sweet ICEMAN, I can't wait until you finish everything. You will deffinetaly have the most custom car. :D

I'm sure that you already know that Ractive does make a wire set that fits our car.

RobT5580
04-05-2004, 10:15 AM
Yeah i have the ractive wires on my car they are or were expensive as hell but they have not let me down and seem very durable. I will be selling them soon proabably when i pull my engine for the B20A swap.

ICEMAN707
04-05-2004, 10:19 AM
lol...like i said they were cheap for $10 on ebay. couldn't pass it up. and yes, big difference over the standard NGK wires. i'm running them with NGK iridium plugs and the throttle feels much much more responsive. i figured out that most 4 cyl honda wires will fit out cars cus we don't have the deep plug holes. it's just a matter of the length of the coil wire.

now that i got more spark and more air, i need to bump up the fuel a bit with a walbro pump and accel or venom 255cc injectors with racing fuel regulator. maybe even get an MSD 6AL for more spark and an upgraded alternator.

as for all the trim and backseat in the back, i'm not worried about those. right now all my backseat area and trunk is gutted except for the inner rear door panels. i'll be working on a custom fiberglass enclosure for the backseat and trunk area after the car is painted. i've also been thinking about getting a 2" steel pipe bended with brackets welded on each side at a machine shop. then use it as an extra stabilizer bar/frame connector that goes across the floor behind the front seats to stiffen the chassis a bit more. i've seen some frame connectors made for civics but im not sure if they fit the 3gee.

Looking really nice. Im glad some people still have the effort in making these cars to be noticed nicely. I hope you can come to a next meet in Florida, dont know when that is though.

ICEMAN707
04-05-2004, 11:30 AM
yeah with more representation, maybe soon more parts will be made for these cars and engine swaps would be alot easier as putting a prelude engine in a crx. or the big turbo companies will notice the potential of the old A20A3 and make turbo and supercharger kits for us. better late than never i always say. cus most of you know, custom work is a biotch. lol.

ICEMAN707
04-07-2004, 07:54 PM
the accord is something different. everybody mods integras. besides, i want to be original. i had the accord before i had the teg. after driving the accord for awhile i felt i needed a 2nd car due to the "limitations" on terrain this car can ride over. and the ride on the konis and sprint springs is hard so it gets to me after awhile. i got the teg for $400 from my uncle. it's manual and it's quicker in my opinion. but top end is the same as the accords cus the accord is modded and is in more prestine condition engine-wise.
