after reviweing the honda ecm board its hard to say how stable it will be with high injector loads. if this method fails there is another avenue for us to head down. it will be using the gm 1227165 gm ecm. adapting it will require some hard work to make work but once adapted will be simpler and cheaper to maintian the the current efi system. i has sevral advantages first its modular. gm used it in more than a dozen vehicles. second it can be used in speed density mode with alternate software that is very thorughly decoded and i mean thorughly. the biggest advantage is the low cost of gm sensors. now if this becomes the main alternative i will spend some serious time make it work. i have a test mule in mind that can be used for this type of work and it will be generic. i hope to create a harness adapter and change only the sensors. the other thing that must go if you already have an efi car is the distributor. back to the carb distributor. im thinking a whole kit approach to this give me a few more weeks. but this is the only other alternative that is cost effective. !
