Custom intake Question

I searched with no luck, but i know a while back (about 4 months atleast while i was lurking around being to lazy to resister) i was reading a post about inckates from a cive or integra or someting on ebay that only need slight modification to fit our cars. im thinking it was a WAI can some one pease help me out here lol.

okies sorry bout the post i think i found it now, short ram for a 92 civic. Now a new question, are there any particuler ones on ebay i should avoid?

You ever find out the answer to this? I don't want to do a CAI. I will probably like to do a WAI and maybe run ducting to it to bring in cooler air, similar to what I did on my truck. I just need a starting point on what to buy to modify it to fit this car.

I used an intake off of a civic (95 and new) and just hacked it to fit. Prretty much anthing will work, just make sure you have a good angle on the dangle so it clears the brake lines and stuff along the passenger side tire well.

WAI=Warm Air Intake (ie a short ram). NX, do you have pics of your set up? For my truck I used an intake off of a NA Eclipse. It was a nice long piece that I could cut down to what I needed. FWIW, here is a pic of the finished product:

I figure it will be easy enough to do the same thing for this car, I just need to know what others have bought that works, unless there are some out of the box systems in existance already.

Nope never got an answer to that part of the question lol, i think im just gonna go CAI though
