Sometimes rides with heavy miles (honda) will wear out distribter bushings and cause a poor idle(miss) and its real tough to troubleshoot. Just go ahead and replace entire distribter when all else has failed,its not that hard just make sure your rotor is put back in same postion as when you pulled it out. You can check the "feel" of rotor for slop up-down-side-side or even the dist. gear itself may be worn slightly. But thats after all tune up stuff has been done. Also a valve adjustment and a poor timing belt can cause a bad idle.
