We all love our 3 gees regardless if they are DX's or LX's, but what is it about your 3 gee that makes you happy you have it parked out on the street or garage? Is it the pop up headlights? Post your reasons, and also vote in the poll!

i like my 3g because it is an old skool import, and it is not over populated with riced out ones.

1) Flip up headlights

2) D3

3) More up-to-date styling (especially the interior) compared to other cars from the same year.

I'll toss out a question: Is the 3g the only sedan in North America with flip up lights?

One of the main reasons I love my car so much, is because it is so amazingly easy to drive. It takes little to no effort to maintain driving ability for the vehicle, it's awesome.

I say what's great about a 3g is you can jump into one and experience a pretty darn good car on the whole. If you go out and look a some brand new car's costing 12k-19K, and take them for a drive, some of them don't measure up to the 3g, in spite of being fresh off the assembly line. That's a accomplishment IMO.

It's reliable, easy to fix, cheap to operate (insurance, gas, and parts), handles well, and is big enough to haul a fair amount of stuff if necessary.

One of the things I like best are the pop-up lights.

After that I just like the body style of the 3Geez.

I like the fact that my car is a 3000 pound vibrator whenever I pull upto a stoplight, and the body style, so original. If my car wasnt such a POS id love it even more.

I like the fact that I can fix almost anything on the car in my own garage with minimal tools. I also like the fact that I have power everything. I have more options on my car than my parents have on theirs. And so far my reliability record is 100%. I also like the part where I have 295,000 miles and no compression loss or noticeable power decrease. I also love pulling 3rd gear onto the freeway, going faster than the flow of traffic by the time I actually get onto the freeway.

I love everything.... the body style, pop-up headlights, easy as hell to drive and maintain, easy to work on, power everything, moonroof, still rides nice and smooth at both low and high speeds, and reliable as F**K!! I love the fact that I can go out at any given time, turn the key, and it starts right up in the blink of an eye and runs 100% perfectly.... EVERY TIME!!

-Power Steering is the best I've ever tried in a car. Ever.
-4* power windows, 2* power mirrors, power sunroof.
-Low weight (good for handling, performance and fuel economy).
-Fast, for having only 122 hp.
-Great low-down torque.
-Handles like a gocart, but still comfortable.
-Extremely reliable.
-It's a Honda!

It reliable, pretty nice looking for a old car, still has a lil kick in it over the years, all the miles i put on it dont phase it, big ass trunk, already kind of low to the ground, dont have to spend a fortune to fill the gas tank, underestimated so i can kick ass and take names, girls like it, and its a manual

I've come to realize how much punishment my car takes. I use it for delivery, which means that I start it up about 17-20 times a day, tack on 150 kms every night, and pound it down bumpy gravel roads way faster than most people would dare with other cars (that they liked).

I was cruising around with a friend in his 96 jetta the other day and he was flinching at every little pot hole, heave and crack, complaining about how bad the roads are. So I realized how tough the old accord is because I hit all that stuff going 3X faster and it never complains.

The powersteering is amazing. So useful in small areas where you need to move around. A pinkie and move the steeringwheel but when you reach higher speeds, the steering is stiffer. Bless Variable Powersteering thing-a-ma-bob.

I had to curb the wheels the other day cuz I parked on a hill in San Fran. I didn't remember to crank the wheel till the car was already off. So I just garb the wheel and give it a good jerk expecting heavy resistance. Man...even with no power steering those wheels are no problem to turn. I love it.

Love my 3G because it was FREE... Plus it has 170k miles and it still runs like a new car. Which is suprise considering I dog the piss out of it. Also no one where I live has one that looks as good as mine.... (still haven't seen Shep's)

Got Popups?

Cheap import. Didn't have to borrow money from mama and dady to get it.

Fun to drive.

Had my car for 3 years and has never broke down on me yet (although my car doesn't have original motor in it).

Modern look for a car thats 18 years old.

Has good performance for a 98+ HP Carbed engine.

This is gonna make me sound old but I love the reliability. My '92 Toyota MR2 fell apart big time when it turned 100k. Also the gas mileage for such an old car astounds me, the availability of cheap parts if i should need them, the rear wiper (so cool!), and the hatchback versatility. Go Honda!

I voted moonroof, but yeah the pop up headlights have been a favorite of mine since I was little. A suburu XT coupe was the first car I ever fell in love with outside of Starky and Hutch's Grand Torreno.

I like my Lx-i because it towed a 2500 lb. trailer from Dallas TX to Sacramento CA without missing a beat, has never left me stranded EVER, has 207K on it and I drive it as hard as ever ( I put about 200-250 miles a day on it 5 days a week)..........

LOL. Most people who own a 3gee dont care for it. About 90 percent of the ones I see they are rusted, missing body parts, painted different colors, and so on. The ones that are in decent shape have wings, fart pipes and tons of decals. I have seen only one that I liked. A white coupe like mine and the paint job was awesome. It was so clean and simple.

I like the body style of the 3gee coupe.
