Picked up an 88 Accord Coupe LXi on Friday. This site has some good info, community seems cool. I'll be around.

Car is basically clean in and out, runs great. Don't really need to do anything to it, but what's a car without making it custom?

it doesnt need paint.. that would be a waste of cash

nice to have a new member so where are you from a and 650 is a really good deal for a 88 lxi here in la you cant find a 3 g for that price. theres alot of info here in this web site all you have to do is search.

I'm from Queens, NY. Can't really find that price here either, I was able to get a deal from somebody.

Don't think i'll do the 5 speed swap right now (who knows though). Will do the other 3 most likely though. Have a lot of chances at getting 5 speeds, didn't want.

The paint isn't bad (no rust, chips, etc..), I just want it looking new.
Wheels/Rims = definitely
Lowering it = definitely
System = definitely
Alarm = definitely***
