wonder why you did the masking with that? is it so no paint would get through? cuz i know the masking most places use still get tiny bits of paint particals every where. i had to scrape my windows with a razor blade to get all the over spray off. they used paper masking.

i agree...they look nice, but coupes imo look better. still, if given a choice, i'd get the aerodeck just because i've never even seen one in real life. good work man, it look sick...but maybe you can resize your pics. They're humungadunga!

i use the potato chip masking cuz they are printed wrong and rejected , so then we use it for masking (free) we use alot of other rejected print to : beans , cheese , beans , cookies and alot of other things .. all of the paint shops in this area use it .. they trow it away any way (they actually pay to trow it away , so they happy cuz we use it .. it costs like 120 dollars per ton to trow it away here in Norway , so they ship it to japan for 25 dollars per ton :dunno: ..

goint to take some pics today of the paint on =) i used super black w a little gold met and then blue "perlemor" (dont know the engislh word) effect
it looks :rockon:

it looks nice but you should use paper not plastic to tape up a car, on the first coat the paint gets on the plastic and drys, then the next coat the air from the paint gun blows off the paint on the plastic and gets on the car. but it looks good in the photo.

i paid 4500 nok to get it done and i did most of the work myself (not painting it) i'm painting the fenders first thing in the morning ...
i'm getting the style auto kit when my tax return comes

and the plastic when painting is no prob cuz we used fast hardner and all of the paint shops here in Drammen use it

i had to weld in new fenders on both sides in the back and fix some dents ,
.. assemble the car takes a long time

My car is badly rusted, and its falling out day by day.

Why trying to get one??? dang, i would just fall down and worship you if u can do that. But with the fee needed to ship it from europe to the N.American continent is a lot. and then the licenses and then the figuring out a way to switch the right hand drive to the left hand drive and meeting all the standars for the EPA bullshit, well u would be happier with something else :D

If I ever do it I will most likely get one from New Zealand. I think they have them there too. A friend of mine has a good connection with an auto wreckers in New Zealand.

In Germany You can find 89 Aero for 350E with broken windshield and 200k km on the clock... or 450E great body shape, but engine is a wreck...
and no insurance, no registration... and about a 1000 E daily driver EFI 116HP, with all that.... there is some choice.
If You want to look around go www.mobile.de then PKW SUCHEN
then chose Honda , put in an accord, and price max 3000 E and SUCHEN :)
