ok my old 89 accord's engine decided to blow a nice hole in its self...sooo i gotta find a new engine. of all the preludes acura's accords and civics at the junk yard...thier any car i should keep an eye out for? i whant a direct drop in and would like for it to bold up to my auto trans. (i love my lsd and speed sensitve pw. steering) :dunno:

find another A20 out of a nice ol lude or a wrecked 3g.....or get the jdm b20, thaat'd be nice

unfortunatly, A20 tranny won't bolt up to B20a block.
so here are your choices:
1. get another a20 motor and drop it in. preffered A20A3 motor for it's higher compression.
2. get a20a3 block, get A18a prelude cylinder head. drop the cylinder head on A20 block and add use eather prelude sidedrafters, or make custom dual weber sidedrafters setup. this setup will give you better power. for less money.
3. you can get A20 motor, some EFi parts and buy sean's GM ECU and you will have EFI car. later you can always turbo the car.

choices #2 and #3 will cost some money, but if you want cheap way. just drop A20a3 motor.

on the A20A3 motor how do i identife it from the rest at the junk yard

A20A3 came in 88-89 accord and it is EFI motor.
