88 Accord LXi 2DR (http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/569097)

What colors do you think this car would look good in?

Can't really think of many colors besides maybe a few shades off what it is that would match the interior, but I'm thinkin and open to suggestions.

Doesn't need a paint job badly but I want it looking new, etc...

I think that the original color and black are about the only two colors that would work with that interior...maybe silver.

I'd stick with the stock color, that way you don't have to worry about the door jams and inside the hood and trunk.

Was thinkin about Black, either that or the original color. Never thought about silver, tryin to picture that.

Thanks for the response

Nah I don't think it was painted before. When I got the car they gave me a whole roll of that pinstripe. Think they did that themselves. Will be taking it off anyway.

There was one Si blue coupe already and i have actually seen a Sei coupe in CT but it wasnt a good job. If my imagestation works here they are

I personally am having the same issue because i have planned on doing championship white for a long time but there are a lot of white accords out there. And a lot of people seem to like the paint on my car now so i have 3 choices for my own car of Si Blue, Championship White, and the metalic red on there now but a whole new paint job to take care of the flaws.

That doesn't even look like Si Blue. Championship White Accord would look nice, since all other white Accords wont match up to it.]

SI Blue= B-95P
CW= NH-0

the paint on the coupe looks more like Super Sonic Blue Pearl Clearcoat = B-90P

For some reason i hate dark colors like my car that is part of the reason why i want white besides the fact my first coupe was white and i liked it a lot. My current color looks good depending on the lighting outside but when the paint looks dark i hate it. Im probably not even going to have the engine bay painted soon as planned before the B20A goes in since im still not sure what im doing. Right now i just want to get the B20A going so paint is not my biggest concern although i would like to do it all now but your talking about another $5000 with the xenon kit, paint, and all new molding and stuff.

But back to your paint as mentioned you have to figure out what your doing with the interior before you paint it unless you dont mind it not matching. I would say white would work the best with your interior since thats why honda did but i never cared for that color interior when i had my white coupe.

Right now White or Black are sounding best to me. I'm gonna look more into stuff to paint/change the interior color.

Shite! I sure like that blue!

Yeah it looked very good and i think the black molding look better on certain cars and this is definatly one of them. I am all screwed up on what color im painting my car and one minute im set on one color and the next i change my mind. There is a slim change i may be doing the body work first because i may have a job this summer at the body shop for the Audi/Porsche dealer i worked for last year. So if i get the job most likely i will take advantage of getting it done for a lot less than i would have to pay which is good and bad. Its going to definatly put off my engine swap but i will save thousands by doing it now. Lets just hope i get this job though but it sounded good when i called today since i know them all very well.

go with red. The maroon interior will compliment it (if it even does for any color  )

AQcz
04-06-2004, 08:44 PM
Red would be easy, except for the fact I really don't care for the color. We'll see what happens though.

I'm leaning more towards white at the minute. Either that or black. It's like 60/40. Probably do whatever i'm gonna do by the end of this month after I get my alarm

I did look into it and the paint does look like Super Sonic Blue. I like that a lot so this will be one of my considerations when i paint my coupe soon.
