I guess you have a carb. it may be the accelerator pump. with the car cold & off look down the primary barrel and flick the throttle a couple times, you should see a small stream of gas and hear a kind of squish sound.

air fuel mixture ? adjust it using the idle mixture screw !
what about sparks , wires , cap , rotor ??

Vaccum leak or dirty fuel system... thats all i can think of with limited info... that and not being able to test drive the car.

my brother has the same problem.
if it's under 3,000rpms at a gas the engine hesitate's.
i figured the car is getting too much fuel no enough air.
i screwed the a/f screw it seem to got better.
i push the pump accelerator (before adjusting the screw) gas squirt's out ant the engine seemed like it want's to die.
i don't know what it could be.
but until we get the efi part's
i'm jus gonna keep mesing with it.
do any of yall have any solution to our problem?

It's probably the EGR Valve.
Disconnect the vaccume hose from it and plug the vaccume hose.

huh? . . . . . .i mean if he floor's it than it act's like it flooded.
the only thing that is helping the car is the secondary.
i think accelerator is'nt acting right.
it spray's out in a jet like.
it never did that.
plus at time's when the carb. internally flooded the pump accel. had some gas on the outside of it.

ok read this guys sig:
I/H/E, bored out throttle body,weight reduction,short shifter,custom vaccum diagram,performance injectors

The custom vacuum diagram sounds interesting, that may be a problem there. If thats not it I say get a new coil and wires and increase the gap on the plugs so you can get more spark, you allready have more fuel right? Why have you not upgraded the spark? I bet it runs rich.

found the problem
it seem's his car prefer's 2 b "topless".
so i made a custom air filter and it's alot better.
but the carb is going bad.

whats with the thread revival?

Topless? Sounds like some float level problem or internal vacuum leak.
I think I remember you already checking the booster venturies
