when i removed my old one there was like a little rubber seal or something, am i soposed to remove that??

that's a gromett for the vcalve, if it's all dried up , hard or cracked, it's gonna have to go. Could be tricky-could sure use a war story from somebody who has actually done one before. I haven't yet, I did buy the new valve from the dealer..car's been running good enough as of late, so I haven't done it.

Uh.. didn't know PCV valve is attached to carburetor. :werd:

it is not attached to carb.
it is right in the front of the carb.
if you want to take it out, be careful.

I sure don't want little bits of rubber getting into the intakes and wherever lse it might end up. I'd have a shop vac handy of the rubber is really dry.
