I just did a variation of a flipped lid...posted pics of it on my CarDomaine website, click on the link in my signature and then go to the bottom of the page.

Turned out pretty good.

Uhhhhhh? Do you mean the Japanimated version of my car? Cause if that's what you mean I did it myself using the instructions that someone posted on the site.

Immitation is the greatest form of flattery. It was worth stealing...by the way, where do you park your car? MUHAHAHAHA! Ahem..cough...cough...did I say that out loud?

I'm having second thoughts about the colour after seeing yours though! That red looks great!

I'm going to do my valve cover next.

Hey! Howzit goin in Edmunchuck? The lid took me about two hours and some of that was set up time. I'm fortunate that I work at a welding supply company, I used a plasma to cut the lid and then I just ground the sides smooth on a bench grinder.

nice work andrew, but i don't see what's teh diff between yours and just flipping the lid w/o cutting it. same thing, no boost in performance. except yours look nice and now you can't flip it back. i do like the sound a flipped lid makes though. good work anyways. and dude! sup with the red fliped lid. it's not flipped! you just took the black plastin intake pipe off. does that give you the same sound as a fliped lid?

The red one isn't mine, it's Kroy's, he just posted it to how me the H emblem on his.

I still have a regular lid, I bought another one from the junkyard to cut...I just did it for looks.

lol, you cut the bottom and he cuts the top... why didn't you guys cut all of it? I mean once you mess with the sides it will never seal again so the rest is useless.

Also check out my ghetto breather filter... this was back when we didn't have much selection for breather fiters... so I used the stock one removed from the side of the airbox.

hey mike and sir, you know how you took the big pipe on the driver side of and put breathers on it? that's the illegal "removing valve" mod right? well like illegal for emissions.
