first off, i dont know what there called but im talkin bout the black rain visor things that go around some of our 3gee's outside the windows.

ok i need some help.. i took them off (i thought they looked ugly and 1 was cracked) but now i have this REALLY sticky crap that doesnt come off. i have tried scraping it off w/ razor (sorta works but is scratching the car or missing it), tried scrubbing, hair-blow-dryering it.

anyone taken these off before and know a good way to get the gooey stuff off? ideas?

thanks

Go to the autoparts store and get goo-be-gone or some other sticker removing spray and start rubbing. If your going to be using a razor keep the surface constantly wet so that the razor slides over the smooth surface's and doesn't nic or scratch them.

What's wrong with them?

Well, I have OEM Visors all around and they hook onto the window. Do the aftermarket ones stick or something?

The aftermarkets stick on, but personally they look much sleeker to me.

the aftermarket ones look rounder and since i'm used to my oem ones, i'm not use to them. I absolutely despise the sticking though. I don't like sticking things to a car. It makes more sense to hook though. Why arent the aftermarket ones like the OEM ones with hooks?
