Paid 3,200 for mine. :deal: '89 2dr coupe LXi 5spd 220k mi.- stock everything. Down to the lic. holder on the front. Well, except for the new 15" PepBoy rims he had put on it.

He had bought it brand new in '89 for his wife to drive to work in. Since they used something else to haul thier kids in it, the inside was super clean.

Stock radio only played AM cause Fm was shot. So for first year I had to listen to talk/sports radio

I paid $3500 Cdn for mine, then I got the carb rebuilt, then I replaced the engine, then the alternator, then part of the exhaust system. The body was in near mint shape until I got into an arguement with a dump truck. I also had one of the windows smashed about 2 mo. ago.

If I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any at all.

Despite all this I still love the effing thing. I just flipped the lid not tooo long ago and tonight I'm painting the valve cover.

1995 for my 89 lxi coupe. It's in great condition though. Blue book is way more than a grand if they have decently low miles. Only 91 k when I just got it :-)

$300 with 223k on the clock, and no 5th, no radio, so speakers, but TWO, yes TWO sets of tires; the rims that are on it now, and all 4 stockers (plus donut spare).

Now has $80 in speakers, a (when new) $300 HU, new waterpump, and soon to have a new $300 5-spd.

As an aside, does anybody know how I can tell if my car's been lowered without taking it apart? It seems to me like it sits lower then everybody elses I've seen in pics and on the road.

$50 for this hot rod, 173k on it when I got it, sold it at 174k when the alternator died, it was then used in a demo derby and just sits smashed up in my friend's yard. Still runs and drives though! A/C still blew ICE cold! :sad2:

I paid $0 for my 1989 2dr LX coupe a year ago from my sister. It was sitting in a field for 2 years and surprisingly hardly any rust on it. It's on the road and I'm slowly rebuilding it back to worthy status. So far I've already put a rebuilt engine with 100,000kms, clutch, complete exhaust with a dynamax super turbo muffler, new windshield, back seat mod, interior change from an EX-I, and lots and lots of body work from a little front end damage caused by a deer. Now i just need to change the front rad support and it will be good as new. :)

I paid $100 for mine and really the only thing it needed was pistons because the lands on them were shot. the car ran and drove and the interior and exterior were great. I couldnt figure out what was causing the smoky oil through the valve cover until I pulled the pistons and crap out and it was already being parted out so the car is history.

I talked the person down from $500 to $375 for my 89 lxi about 2-3 months ago... Drove it 200 miles to Rhode Island the day i bought it. Put little over 2000 miles on it since... bought new tires and new alternator brushings. Has 252,000 miles. I expect another 40,000 out of the engine.

I got mine for free, just got it this week. It's a 1986 LX-i. I had to change one of the tires, and the oil. The hood is dented too. I plan on fixing it up, though. Pretty decent for my first car. :)

Mine was a grand, but talked the guy down from $1500. Overall the car is okay, but the interior is immaculate. There are no signs of wear on the seats or the carpet. It had the stock tape player, and still had the original code card from Honda in the glove box.
