Today while removing my alternator to replace the brushes, I decided on a bored whim to remove that anoying chamber resonator off my stock intake. It is located under the right front fender (passengers side) and the purpose of which is to muffle the sound of the engine. From what I have read, it retricts airflow as well, thus I desided to remove it. I figure this will be a descent quick fix becuse the intake I had laying around does not (yet :D) fit too well on my car unless I rewire my battry in the trunk... lol. Anyway im just wondering if there are any downfalls/problems to the removing the chamber resonator.

thanks

i see no problems....slightly raise the chances of gettin a ticket due to the fact that your car is slightly louder.....but that's slim to none imo

bless up

Actually when I bought my car the peice of the intake that connects to the air box had popped off and the car had quite a rumble to it...
