Choke: Open or Not??

my car is difficult to shut off after fully warmed.
when i get the key off, the engine usually rough idle for about 5--10s before shut off.
Then i open the my air cleaner and found the choke was fully opened instead of close.
Is that the reason? what can i do for it?

when the car warms up, the chope should be open.
your problem most likely in timing.
check your timing, and if that is ok, proceed with carburator.
