Well last night i was coming off the highway doing about 70 and all of a sudden i see my temp needle jump up high and no heat coming off my vents. i pull to the shoulder as soon as i can and turn the car off and like a second later, a gust of wind just pushes all the damn winde from behind and my car's whole front is covered with white ass smoke, more or to say steam. i was like fuck, my radiator hose broke. I opened up the hood looked everywhere and i saw coolant splash around the bellhousing but nothign in the front. I checked if the fan was running, cuz my fans run all the time, and they were, So i was like wtf is wrong. I could not find a leak or a tear. So i started to add coolant in the radiator and then i found out that it was leaking near clamp on the hose that goes from the cylinder head to the heater core inside.
Today i went to autozne, National autoparts store and i could not find the hose that would fit it. Then i came back home, took the broken hose and went back and got 5/8" heater braided hose for like $3 for 2 feet.
Came back home, used some time saving screw on hose clamps, put the new hose in and filled it up with coolant and it just idled fine and the temp was at halfway where it was supposed to be.
This is a straight forward installation which takes about 10 to 15minutes depending on the parts at your hand the ease of work. It took me 20mts to pull the old one out, put the new one and fill it with coolant. So its a easy fix.
This is for people who might encounter similar problem. Listed are the pics and part needed. Hope it helps :)
