http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/2/web/566000-566999/566138_26_full.jpg after a day of cutting, carving, bolting, findind stuff, clamping, etc. wit my dad. i know, i know, it doesn't run too the bumper, but its in a pretty cooled place. that intake pipe is from the civic, we bought it with the civic air box. i know it's not aluminum but, hey it works. maybe i'll change it later. http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/2/web/566000-566999/566138_27_full.jpg in this pic, you can see the stock air duct that runs from the passenger side fender, my dad wanted to angle it towards the air filter, so that it sort helps blows outside air in. you can see the sensor from the stock square intake pipe, we drilled a hole into the new one and just stuck it in there. http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/2/web/566000-566999/566138_28_full.jpg http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/2/web/566000-566999/566138_29_full.jpg that little breather filter cost me 11 freaking dollars! please feel free to leave any comments, suggestions, wateva, questions too.

Its technically not a CAI cause your filter is in the engine bay and let alone behind the Axle which is not good. This is because water gets kicked up from the tire and if u wonder why the lower part of your firewall has a lot more dust that the top, yeah this is the answer. So I would suggest that to prevent water getting into the engine, move the filter in front of the axle and hence in front of the car. ALso, the filter is not low enough, Its still right anove the tranny and its worse than before, cause u got no air going to it. So move it in the front or just let it be like a short ram intake. :sad2:

like this man. the filter needs to be in front. I took this pic right after i came back from the paint shop a year back so its shitty as hell with overspray. Its an efi as u can say, but a CAI is a CAI. dont worry, u wont mess it up, but the place u put is not a good place.

it was an 88-91 lx civic. i don't know why their efi's look like this with the box, but hey it works, i suggest gettin the aluminum pipe everyone has. mine is sorta just a test one. it still needs some fixing, it was a sedan civic, if it matters.

cuz that efi is not a multiport like ours, it has only one injector if im right. One of the early test ones, more like a substitue for carb.

when i get to mine, i think i may just put a hood scoop above the inlet. maybe make a heat shield thing to go around it? that'd be good.
