rear deck removal

Well my next project is to remove and replace the rear deck...I have a replacement from a wrecked car and will be attempting to install this coming weekend...does any body know how to remove the old one?

You have to remove the brake light and the speaker covers. The whole mat is held on with friction clips. You just pull on the mat and the clips pop out. Mine didn't break doing this but it's possible some clips will.

yeah a panel puller will save the plastic rivets from ripping out of the dashboard although i just took them out one less thing to rattle when my subs hit.
