im thinkin of putting a low profile roof scoop on my car, and prolly have just a sliding cover for it in the headliner, prolly just a way to let some ventilation in the car withoutopening the windows. but it would mostly be for looks. i was just wondering if there is actually a purpose for these. anyone know? :wtf:

Dude, have you been playing NFSU too much lately? :D

I guess it's more of a show thing...IMO it wouldn't be worth putting on a car just for show...

Retarded looking.
Hurts your aerodynamics too.
The only functional roof scoops are the ones you see on the JGTC NSX's

It would leak water in like a mofo too. I wouldn't get one if I were you. I haven't played NFSU in awhile either. That was a great game!

its used for cars w/ a rear mounted engine so that it can get air to cool it and would be pritty gay on a fme car.

Impractical, illogical, irrelevant, and inexcusable...

don't do it, unless you never have your car exposed to rain...only good for cars with rear mount engines and used to cram air into the engine compartment.
