I believe that the 87 lude had the same motor as the 88-89 accords... Look at the dist. if they are differnt than don't use it...

there are a few changes in teh 88-89 a20a3's . the 88-89 had more HP and more compression. and the intake manifodl was differant. i dont have the 87 dist to look off of. im sellgin to it someone and i wanted to double check before i sell him somethign that wont work on his car. thanks carotman for the help

you should be concerened about if its a TEC or a ND or Mitusba (i believe it was its stupid name) but anyway, the only problem is that some of then had an internal ignitor and some of then had an external one. Thats the only difference in the dist. Why dont u ask the dude ur selling ur dist, to give u a pic of his STOCK dist to have a peace of mind?

Only the carbed and the EFI dizzy's are different, but are the same across EFI model years. I'm running an 89 dizzy from an SEi on my 87 LXi and it works fine.

well in that case, you got no problem I guess the A20A2 had a different Distributor or something. The weird ass european cars.
