Ok, I know I asked this in another thread, but I figured it would be get better response here. I have seen alot of car with "cool cans" basically its a coil of tubing inside of a plastic or metal container. You therefore fill this container full of ice, and it chills your fuel makes it denser. My question, would it work on our models? Mounting the can in the compartment will be the problem unless i can fabricate my own.

But, I want to know if its really going to help make even a small increase in power. In all actuality, it SHOULD work.

Here is a link to some cool cans.

those things are only necessary if you're professionaly racing. otherwise its just a useless waste of space and weight.

i'd be willing to bet that the power-gain to weight-added ration isnt worth the trouble and hassle.

This may be true, but I dont see a small plastic can and half a bag of ice causing too much of a weight gain. 6-10 pounds IF that much.

Just an Idea though. This is the project thread

i might be adding one of the fuel line coolers in, but you have to know that ur better off with the grill type cooler like the perma cooler. http://www.jegs.com/photos/7711009.jpg

You only need if you are pushing extra fuel via a high volume fuel pump, if not dont bother getting it. Its more of a show than go if you are gonna use this on a stock set up.
