I put some new 6X9's in the rear deck, and the damned tweater is a lil high preventing me from getting my stock covers back on. Are there any sugesstion?

Will the covers that came with the speakers fit instead?

I have modded them to fit but #1 there hella ugly and #2 the mesh on them is so thin you can see the speaker directly through them and thats bad for 2 reasons, everyone can see them and the sun beats down on them.

You can knock a hole in the plastic part where the tweeter is so that you have just the cloth part covering it up.

they were just some cheap lightning audios (sound damn good for $30 though lol) but the bright yellow could tend to draw attention, peopple arond my area will steal dog on stock out of your cars if they get a chance lol.

On my 88 4door I just used longer screws to hold the two pieces of the grill together that worked good for me.
