just cover the welds with some 3" urethane reducer connectors used for intakes with some 3" hose hose clamps and it should look good.

Yeah i have Justin's old charge pipes and i spent about an entire day grinding all the welds and sanding them so it would look nice and clean when i powder coat them. Good luck it should be nice im running the same turbo except mine is a external gate.

Is this turbo set up for an A20? or B20? and what are you doing for a manifold and the rest of the parts?

The stuff looks good right now, who cares what the welds look like.. going fast is looking good!

well im making my own manifold, equal length, 1.5" primaries. Im having a 1/2" steel A20 flange cnc machined to base it on... it should be killer.

let me know the cost of the flange... what steel is it? Stainless?

yea I would grind down those welds until they are perfect smooth with the rest of the pipe. Look around at other material that has been welded before and you notice that the welds are not grinded to look perfect casue it will severely weaking the weld.

Now I have a question; when you hook these turbos up on the accords, do you need an aftermarket boost controller? You have to have some way to set the boost rpm and pressure. Or are those controls on the turbo itself?

You only need a boost controller if you want to raise the boost. If you have a external wastegate you can change out the spring for a set psi rating.

i have a boost controller but dont plan on using it until i get some serious managemant (aka seans ecu). Also that turbo will never fit the way it is in these pics, i had to clock the compressor housing (rotate it) so the compressor outlet didnt hit the radiator or ps pump (easy to do)... but still its gonna be VERY tight fit, but will fit nonetheless. Im having BMC racing make the flanges but im still waiting for them... ITS TAKING TOOO LONG!!!

With the PS line I was thinking about taking one off another car like the 4g accord where it runs over the timing belt and directly to the supension. I don't see why the PS line on the 3G run accros the exhaust and all the way around the engine bay??????
