well Finally a Month and a half later, and $1200 in the hole I finally got my car back and running. (sorta)

I am in the middle of trying to repaint a new hood. it is stock unfortunately.. :-(

Special thanks to Justin for the parts and helping me out with all this, and to everyone else who pitched in to help a brutha out in time of need.

The hood accident happened about 2 weeks ago. I was getting ready to dump it and buy a new car but I ended up driving it to the Honda shop like it was. they got it running. gave it back to me. I made some calls and got the windshield ordered that night and put in the next day, and go the replacement hood the following day.

yeah its almost all back together but I am still thinking about selling it. its got chips already cause some assholes hit me. im diggin the Brembo Rotors. I need to rebleed them one more time though cause the pedal is a bit squishy, but i can still stop. the calipers are nissin and they are honda genuine but only on the FI. the pads are nissin metallic pads but they arent honda. once i get everything back together would anybody offer me $2000 for my car?

cause pulling the mani is too much a bitch with the head on and it wold be a good thing to change the gasket on a car that has been through hell and back. I just wish that things would have went together like plan, everything that could have went wrong did. :sad2:
But hey the car went from SLOW and to having one of the dirtest oil coverd engine bay, to clean and bling bling too were you could eat off it. :D

well other than the paint and the bumpers everything is pretty much back to stock. after the hood shattered the scoop i didnt feel like repairing it so the stock hood is back on AND painted. I am replacing the main wiring harness and the stock tail lights too. so its will pretty much be stock appearance wise again. but with the internals of a bad mo fo!

no they are brand new, they dont really look like they would rust though. doesnt feel like the are made of standard steel. and if they are then its plated with something over it. I'll try to get a closer shot!

questions: did you paint the intake manifold? Looks more like the bumpy sand paint on the EFI valve cover. Oh yea why no efi valve cover? Felt like leaving it with the carb one?

Its JDM YO! hahaha no just playing. its just painted with black high temp paint. I didnt do that Valve cover because someone forgot to bring it. The vavle cover is the least of my problems really. but i will get around to it as soon as everything else is taken care of!!

I dont remember off hand but it was somewhere in that region. I think with the rotors and the metallic pads the total came out to be like $220-240. but I guess you dont have to get the metallic pads, so that would bring the price down a lot.

I think that anybody who has seen my car, especially after being painted, would tell you that the black bumpers is what sets my car apart from everybody else. like it or not, it is what it is and im proud of it. and believe me after giving her a good wash and polishing up all the black I took it for alittle cruise last night and it was turning plenty heads!

i know i know but i cant do webber because of CA laws. the exhaust has hy-fly cat 2 1/4 or 1/2 piping with a 5 inch tip on the exhaust (which i dont like) when (if) i get around to it, im working on a plan to just get dual pipe with dual tips like a corvette.

yes i did paint over the stock taillights and cut out the vette style circles.

hey man, i love what uve done with your car, funny thing is, my friend did those tails to his escort, and asked if i wanted them done to my car like a month or so before you did it, i didnt think it would look good, but i like it.. heres a thought, i dont know how you have your turn signals hooked up, but have you ever thought of getting a euro bumper or making one, with the lights in the back on the bumper, and using those as turn signals. just an idea i thought would look tight on your car.

Well, i saw mario's in person and i must say he has some skills! :) Sure i saw the car when it was still in primer form, but I must say his craftsmanship doesnt go without recognition. Sure some of you don't like it but don't bash. We should all respect custom work whether it's to our liking or not. I know all of us sometimes just flat out hate it and just say it but. try and be more subtle than THOSE ARE UGLY.etc.

Nobody is perfect so just try and not bash, i know it happens sometime though.

for all those wondering why I want to sell my car, it is because I have put about $8000 into and i think its time to start a new project. If I had the funds to buy a new car and keep my 3g I would. then I would turn it into my rally car and bea the shit out of it.

I have had a lot of people say that I am just ripping myself off so the car is now being sold for $3000. NOT 2k

Problems:

1. NO AC. removed for weight reduction
2. front balls and struts are done for. (but should be replacing them soon)
3. Check engine comes on for O2 sensor. using 88-89 manifold and 86-87 wiring harness is only reading ONE sensor telling the ECU the car is running way lean.
