B20 specs?

Ya ya I know... search!... I tried it, and after going through a bunch of threads I couldn;t find it.

I know that the JDM b20 for our accords is 160hp, but what is the torque rating? I heard once that is was 140?

Also, what is the full engine code? B20A..????

And does everything including A/C bolt right up to our USDM accords??

And what is the aftermarket support like for these engines?

Were still in the workings of this fine engine IMO. I have found that B18A1 cams will work with minor modification, B18A exhaust valves are the exact same but the B20A intake valves a larger so you will need oversized valves. Other than that the rest is pretty much custom you will need to modify a prelude header to fit and the rest is random stuff from a mix of honda engines.

Im not sure because i have my turbo setup but my orignal turbo header and downpipe were made for a B20A5. I had to change the angle since the B20A5 leans back and i had to extend the pipe to the cat. Justin (turbo hatch) did a B20A swap for a member and he had pictures it looks like he just changed the angle and added the 2 O2 bungs.

the ac and power steering pumps are special to the b20a engine. the b20a5 header will work with modification, elongate the stud holes on the ends of the flange and change the angle of the down pipe... remember the b20a5 leans back and the b20a leans forward

what will the a5 header do for it? why the a5?

It has aftermarket support. So you can buy a DC Sports header build for a B20A5 and make it fit the B20A.

I guess the preludes are loosing aftermarket support just as we are so and i noticed the good headers have all been discontinued already.

So DC Sports have discontinued the B20A5 header too?
