i dont know anything about how to do this, what bolts do i remove? how far and what way do i turn it to advace?

there are two bolts. one on the top and another on the bottom of distributor. lose them up and turn counterclockwise. don't turn too much. do it one step at the time. tight the bolts. and drive it.
if you hear pinning hoise comming. you have to go back a little.
that is it.
timing light in this situation is no help at all.

yes !!

after just loosning teh two bolts !! DON"T REMOVE ! slide the whole distributer clockwise to retard , counter clock wise to advance ! BTW pinging is a like a metal sound happens at acceleration ! hope that helps ! :D

that is what i said. you just don't need to use the timing light. it is useless unless you want to set the timing back to original.
