Yeah I have this problem on the freeway. When I punch it in 5th the tires just light up. I have good 15x7 tires too. It must be the insane torque our cars have.

Hmmm...maybe it doesn't happen to me because my wheels are over 25 lbs a piece? :D I have yet to spin my tires, but I havn't really tried

well, i have 26 in all my tires. and i tell you what.
i can do a spin and burn out(i did it only ones and it didn't last long) in first gear. i have know idea how do you make tires spin in 2 gear. you must have huge carbon deposits on your pistons, this will increase your compression.

CAN I HIT THE NEWBIE?!? :banghead:

duh, of course you can newbie! i think they call that a "burnout"

Honestly, some people shouldn't own cars, let alone drive them.

I take this back if you are a very sheltered person... then maybe i'll cut some slack..

Ok i was at the track one night and i forgot to let the pressure down in my tires well when i let off at over 5500 into second gear i spun not chirped and i chirped into third. IT all depends on how you are driving tire pressure and tire type. Now i was full throttle shifting at this time. I decided that this is bad way to go its hard to keep traction and hard on your car.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind learning how to chirp my tires once I shift into second. Means your an awesome driver and have a fast car.

Ofcourse, I'm a noob too, so it just doesn't matter what ppl say bout that.

doesnt meen you have a fast car because you can do 2nd gear scratchs, you can do it in a 3cylinder geo metro if you know how to drive :lol

YOU can get a geo metro to chirp it's tires, my brother had a 3 cylinder metro, 1.3 I think?? and he used to chirp the damn thing all the time. The tires were bald so he could even do a half assed smoke show. :barf:
