Well im thinking of buying a Blaupunkt GTA2100 from someone second hand for $100 AUD + some p&h. I plan to use it to run my Pioneer 4" splits to get some better sound out of them. THey are rated at 50wrms and the amp puts out 2x50rms so i guess this should work fine, but just want to make sure. So yeah will it pump okay?

Also are these amps good, is the price good, remember its Australian and not USD.

Cheers.

run it to your 6x9s, youll get more sound that way. 4" speakers are a waste IMO to amp beuause you wont get as much bass from them as you would if you amped the 6x9s.

use that amp to run front components. 4" speakers? where did you put them. this amp may be a little too much for them.

4" splits are in the front. I know the hole deal with 4" speakers, so dont even start on it. I dont particulary feel like putting anything bigger in their till i get some time to make some pods.

If the speakers are rated at 50wrms and the amp puts out that, why would it be too much?

you never want to match speaker output with amp output. also many people say that is what you want to do. well not all the speakers can handle that much power. you can probably run them with low amp settings. Pioneer is a good brand, but i never seen their speakers to hold up to the power they were rated.
